Place potatoes along the bottom of the slow cooker. Drizzle with olive oil, then sprinkle with sea salt, garlic powder, and nutritional yeast.
Turn slow cooker on to high. After an hour fifteen minutes turn over potatoes once.
At two hour mark add chopped fresh broccoli and stir, after turning on low.
At two hour and thirty minute mark, take out and eat. Add butter, sour cream, or dairy free alternatives.
Mushrooms can also be added with potatoes at the hour and fifteen mark.
Ps: Tested this today (without mushrooms) and it turned out yummy! The potatoes alone are super yummy too. Based on past experience, cooking the potatoes on low instead of high means you can just about double the times.
